SPECIAL FEATURES

The AFX-300 has several special features that let you custom- ize its operation to fit your needs. By entering a preset access code from any touch-tone telephone — either from an exten- sion on the same line as the AFX-300, or after calling from a remote phone — you can do any of the following:

Change the preset access code

Change the AFX-300’s ring number setting

Turn on/off first number distinctive ring

Turn on/off second number distinctive ring

Turn on/off the FAX and MODEM jacks

Turn on/off the TAD jack

Turn on/off the fax password feature

Route data modem calls to the FAX jack

Turn on/off automatic modem detection (AMD)
