Note: All Compaq Deskpro Workstation AP230 series contain three DIMM slots, but can only be upgraded to a maximum of 512 MB. The limitation of 512 MB maximum is a limitation of the memory controller in the 815E chipset.

Note: It is not necessary to add memory in pairs or kits. Memory upgrades are accomplished by adding single or multiple DIMMs of the same or varied sizes. This chart does not represent all possible memory configurations.
