Computer Upgrades

There are several different types of memory modules. Install the same type of memory currently in your computer. To find your type of memory, go to compaq.com/athome/memory Web site (not available in all languages).

No tools are needed to remove, replace, or upgrade memory modules.

Removing a Memory Module

ÄCAUTION: When handling a memory module, be careful not to touch any of the contacts. Doing so may damage the module.

1.Complete the procedure described in “Preparing the Computer” section at the beginning of this chapter, but do not remove the front bezel.
