The motherboard comes with a surface mount 478-pin socket designed for the Intel® 479P Core Duo / Core Solo / Core 2 Duo CPU with 65nm process.

Take note of the marked corner (with gold

match a specific corner on the socket to

 

 

 

ensure correct installation.

 

 

 

Note! ! Make sure the AC power is off before you install the CPU.

!If installing a dual-core CPU, connect the CPU fan cable to the CPU_FAN1 connector to ensure system stability.
