Reinstalling system software
Your Macintosh came with all the necessary system software installed and ready to use. Occasionally, however, system software can develop problems and need to be replaced.
Before you begin, you must start your Macintosh from the
CD Install Me First disc. For instructions, see “Using the CD as Your Startup Device” earlier in this book.
1. On the desktop, click Install System.
Although some parts of your screen may look different, the instructions in this section are correct.
2. In the Welcome dialog box that appears, click OK.
Click OK.
