To Connect a Second USB Device.

When you wish to use another USB device, such as a floppy disk drive, at the same time, connect the second USB device to the (original mini USB) connector by attaching the supplied conversion adapter.

You can use the optional Sony USB mouse (PCGA-UMS1 series) with this computer. Plug the USB mouse into the USB connector. You do not need to turn off your computer.

See the manual that came with your USB device for more information on installation and use.

Connecting the port replicator will disable the original mini USB adapter.
