Using Power Saving Modes

Press Fn+Esc or Fn+F12. The screen turns off, and then the computer enters Hibernation mode.

Do not move the computer until the power indicator turns off.

To return to normal mode

Turn on the computer by pressing the power button. The computer returns to its previous state.

When returning from Hibernation mode, the system status stored on the hard disk is erased and the computer starts normally if you press the power button and hold for more than four seconds.

❑Time to return to Normal mode

Standby requires less time to return to normal mode than Hibernation.

❑Power consumption

Standby uses more power than Hibernation.
