Connection of an audio source

iCub is designed to be ready to receive whichever audio source by either analog stereo connection or digital-optical connection (fig. C).

It is possible to connect a Mac computer or PC by digital cable or analog mini jack 3.5mm (depending on the sound card’s specifications).

iCub offers an ideal solution for connection of portable devices, such as MP3 players or portable hard drive devices such as the iPod.

Note: It is possible to connect at the same time an analog source and

a digital one on the iCub in their respective connectors. Only engage one device at a time or you will hear both signals at the same time. (there is however no danger to audio sources or the iCub)
