Using the main unit:
1 When you hear a ring, lift the handset or press

3 Replace the handset if you are using it.

When AUTO ANSWER mode is off, the unit provides two types of receiving modes: “ﾃﾞﾝﾜﾕｳｾﾝ” (Telephone) mode and “FAX ﾕｳｾﾝ” (Fax/Telephone) mode.
Telephone mode (ﾃﾞﾝﾜﾕｳｾﾝ)
Select this mode when you plan to answer the calls yourself.
When receiving calls, you have to answer all calls manually.
Fax/Telephone mode (FAXﾕｳｾﾝ):
Select this mode when you are near the unit and want to use it to receive voice calls yourself and fax calls automatically.
Change the setting if you want to use this mode.
