8)Connect from source signal by connecting the RCA audio cables to the input jacks at the ampli- fier.
9)Connect the car speakers. Speakers should be 4 Ohms. If connecting one speaker per channel as shown in the diagrams (except where noted on D400.1, D600.1, D1000.1). Strip the speaker wires 1/2” (12.7mm) and insert into the speaker terminal block, then tighten the set screw to secure into place. Be sure to maintain proper speaker polarity. DO NOT chassis ground any of the speaker leads as unstable operation or damage to the amplifier and/or speaker may result.

Connecting Speakers To Mono Block Amplifiers
All Diamond mono block amplifiers come with two positive speaker terminals and two negative speaker terminals. This makes it easier to connect multiple woofers to one amplifier. Inside of the amplifier the two positive terminals are connected in parallel and the two negative terminals are connected in parallel. This means that if one 4 ohm woofer is connected to each terminal the amplifier will see this as a 2 ohm load.
