7.1HOW TO RELEASE AND REPLACE THE GAS SPRING
To replace the spring, push up, and turn the knob in the center on the bottom of the TNP100AU by 90 degrees, thereby releasing the gas spring.
Unscrew the knob, and then unscrew the gas spring itself from the TNP100AU. Replace the gas spring with a new one by screwing it in, and then replacing the knob.
Under normal conditions the gas spring will last up to five years.
