Configure the Modem

The first page that appears after you successfully login displays information about the Modem and its connection status. Tabs across the top of the screen show other available menus: Home, Setup, Tools, Status, and Help.

When the Modem is used to provide Internet access it must first access your service provider’s network, that is, it must communicate with computers and other modems owned by your service provider. These computers and modems then provide access to the Internet. The Modem must be configured to communicate with the systems that give it access to the larger network. Click either the Setup tab (or the Go to setup wizard hyperlink); the following window will appear:
