OPERATION

After you have connected your subwoofer, adjusted it for proper operation with the rest of your system, and experimented to find the best location for it, it’s time to sit back and enjoy it. As you do, here are some hints for getting the most out of your subwoofer.

A)The subwoofer’s level control is designed to adjust the balance between your subwoofer and main stereo speakers and should not be used as a substitute for the bass or loudness controls on your amplifier or receiver. If more bass is desired, advance the bass or loudness controls on your main amplifier or receiver.

B)Your subwoofer’s auto turn-on-turn-off feature allows “set it and forget it” operation by keeping the electronics in a standby mode until a signal is detected, which turns the amplifier on instantly. When there is no signal present after a few minutes, the electronics will again shut down to the standby mode. We do suggest that you turn the subwoofer off by its power switch if it is to be unused for an extended period of time. For additional protection against damage from lightning, we recommend unplugging the line cord.

C)The tone controls on your preamplifier, receiver, or amplifier should be used with caution and care. Excessive boost in certain frequency ranges can cause heavy demands on amplifier and loudspeaker components resulting in overheating, distortion, mechanical overload, and premature failure.

CARE AND CLEANING

Your subwoofer is finished in a durable vinyl and may be wiped clean with a damp cloth as needed when the power switch is turned off.

TB2 specifications

The DCM Speakers TB2 is a remarkable addition to the realm of audio equipment, bringing exceptional sound quality and innovative design to music enthusiasts and home theater aficionados alike. Renowned for their exceptional engineering and commitment to providing high fidelity sound, DCM offers a speaker that is deeply rooted in the quest for audio excellence.

One of the standout features of the DCM TB2 is its driver configuration. The speaker features a 6.5-inch polypropylene woofer, designed to deliver powerful bass response, ensuring that low frequencies are bold without overwhelming the midrange and treble elements. Accompanying the woofer is a 1-inch silk dome tweeter, which produces smooth high frequencies with a natural warmth. This combination allows for a well-rounded soundstage, suitable for various genres of music as well as movie soundtracks.

The TB2 utilizes advanced technologies to enhance its audio performance. DCM engineers have implemented a unique Time-Align technology, which ensures that sound waves from each driver reach the listener at the same time. This results in a coherent audio image, making it easier for listeners to pinpoint the location of individual instruments and vocals. Additionally, the speakers are designed with a rear-firing bass port, which enhances low-frequency output while allowing for flexible placement within a variety of room settings.

Another significant aspect of the DCM TB2 is its construction. The cabinet is crafted from high-quality materials, ensuring durability while minimizing unwanted resonance. The design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, combining a contemporary look with classic audio principles. The compact size of the TB2 makes it a versatile option for both bookshelf and stand-alone configurations.

Moreover, the DCM TB2 is engineered for compatibility with a variety of audio systems, including home theater setups and high-fidelity stereo systems. With an impedance of 8 ohms and a sensitivity rating of 88 dB, the TB2 can be efficiently driven by various amplifiers, making it suitable for entry-level systems as well as more advanced configurations.

In conclusion, the DCM Speakers TB2 stands out for its robust engineering, advanced technologies, and harmonious sound reproduction. Offering an exceptional listening experience, it is an attractive option for anyone looking to enhance their audio experience, whether for music or movies. With timeless design and modern performance capabilities, the TB2 is poised to remain a beloved choice among audiophiles.
