4.4.2.10 Gateway IP Address

Defines the network gateway IP address for the ServSwitch iPATH server.

4.4.2.11 Netmask

Defines the netmask for the ServSwitch iPATH server.

4.4.2.12 DNS Server IP Address

Defines the IP address for a suitable DNS server to use within the ServSwitch iPATH network.

4.4.2.13 Syslog IP Address

Not fully supported. Set this to be the ServSwitch iPATH IP Address if you do not have a syslog server.

4.4.2.14 Multicast IP Base

Defines the base IP address for use in multicast configurations (where multiple receivers use the output from a single channel). Multicast IP addresses are assigned in pairs (one for audio, one for video), starting from this lowest IP address. If you expect to have several multicast/shared connections within your ServSwitch iPATH network, ensure that sufficient IP addresses are available, starting from this IP address.

4.4.2.15 Time

4.4.2.15.1 NTP Enabled?

If set to No, you will need to enter the date and time manually.

If set to Yes, you need to enter an NTP Server Address, declare your Timezone Area, and your Timezone Location.

Note: For the ServSwitch iPATH unit to use NTP it requires access to the Internet, usually via the second Ethernet connection to the rear of the unit. The IP address for the second Ethernet connection can be configured within the Settings page.

4.4.2.16 Mail Server

A range of settings to define your email server, so that ServSwitch iPATH system backups can be automatically emailed to you.

4.4.2.17 Active Directory

If you wish to import user details from an existing LDAP connection, such as Active Directory, this section allows you to enter all of the necessary details. See Users > Active Directory for details about using Active Directory links.
