Disc positioning guides

These guides help to position the disc

Disc traycorrectly when you place it onto the tray.

If the disc tray will not open due to printer malfunction, you can open it manually by inserting a thin, pointed object (at least 20

mmlong, and less than 1.5 mm thick) into this hole.

Use this hole to manually open the disc tray only when abso- lutely necessary. Do not use it normally to open the tray.

* Do not use an object with an easily breakable tip. Doing so creates the risk of malfunction.

Do this first!

The front parts of the printer are se- cured with tape to protect them dur- ing shipment. Make sure you remove the tape before using the printer for the first time.
