Marking track numbers automatically while analog recording

Track numbers are automatically marked when the input signal continues to be under a certain level for more than two seconds and then returns to the previous level.

The MD deck is ready for recording.

2 Press EDIT/NO, then turn MULTI JOG until “LEVELSYNC ?” appears.

3 Press ENTER/YES.

“LEVELSYNC ON?” appears.

4 Press ENTER/YES again.

“LEVEL-SYNC lights up.

5 Press ¸.

Recording starts.

To cancel the track marking

1Press EDIT/NO, then turn MULTI JOG until “LEVELSYNC?” appears.

2Press ENTER/YES. “LEVELSYNC OFF?” appears.

3Press ENTER/YES again. “LEVEL-SYNC” disappears.

In this way, a track number is marked only at the beginning.
