Problem

What to do

No sound

• Make sure the CineMate® system is turned on and that the speaker array

power indicator is on (solid white).

• Make sure the CineMate system is not muted.

• Increase the volume.

• Verify the wireless connection between the speaker array and the

Acoustimass® module:

Press the ADAPTiQ® button behind the sliding cover on the end of

the speaker array.

The status indicator should glow orange for 10 seconds if the wire-

less connection is good.

• If the speaker array status indicator is blinking orange:

Check that the Acoustimass module is plugged into a live AC wall

outlet and the status indicator is glowing orange.

Perform the pairing procedure. See “Pairing the Acoustimass®

module with the speaker array” on page 14.

Try moving any possible sources of wireless interference, such as a

wireless computer network router, another wireless device, or a

microwave oven, further away from the CineMate system.

• Make sure all cable connections are correct and secure on the speaker

array, TV, and other connected sources. Refer to the “Product Overview”

in the setup guide.

• Check that the correct TV input is selected. See “Changing the source

control mode” on page 7.

• Check that the TV’s audio output is enabled. See your TV owner’s guide

for information.

• If the speaker array is connected to a TV output labelled VARIABLE

(VAR), make sure the TV’s internal speakers are turned off, the TV

volume is turned up, and the TV is not muted.

• Make sure there is an audio connection from your sources to both your
