Advanced operations

To quit program playback

Press ENTER when points [PROGRAM]. [PROGRAM] returns to its original color.

(When playing back a Video CD, you have to press 7 and then press ON SCREEN to bring up the on-screen display.)

To clear the program

While stopped and the on-screen display is shown on the TV screen, move to [PROGRAM] and then press 7. All the programmed tracks are erased.

If you are going to program a track in the bonus group of a DVD AUDIO, the unit will ask you to enter the key number for the bonus group (see page 49).

You can add tracks to the program during program playback of Audio CD.

3 Press ENTER.

The color of [RANDOM] changes. The unit starts random playback.

The “RANDOM” indicator appears in the display window on the front panel. After playing all tracks of the disc, random playback ends.

The same track will not be played back more than once during random play.

During Audio CD playback, pressing ENTER when points [RANDOM] quits random mode and continues playback in the normal order.

In the random playback mode with the DVD AUDIO, tracks in the bonus group are not played back (see page 49).
