Basic Operations

This section describes the basic procedures of how to insert a disc into the disc tray and how to play the disc.

You can perform all operations with the remote control and basic operations from the player itself.

Loading a Disc

1Press [OPEN/CLOSE] on the remote control. (On the player itself, press 0.) The disc tray is ejected.

2Place the disc on the disc tray.

Place the disc so it is aligned with the center of the disc tray. If the disc is not aligned correctly, it may be damaged when the disc tray closes or it may become jammed in the disc tray.

Place the disc with the label facing upwards

• Place 8 cm discs in the

groove in the disc tray.

Note:

Be careful not to trap your fingers in the disc tray.
