CONNECTING EXTERNAL SOURCES

The exact arrangement you use to connect the PC, VCR, camcorder, laserdisc player, DVD player, or HDTV Set Top Box to your Plasma TV is dependent on the model and features of each component. Check the owner’s manual of each component for the location of video and audio inputs and outputs.

The following connection diagrams are offered as suggestions. However, you may need to modify them to accommodate your particular assortment of components and features. For best performance, video and audio cables should be made from coaxial shielded wire.

CONNECTING AN DIGITAL TV ANTENNAS

1.Attach an ATSC antenna cable to the Digital RF terminal.

2.Connect the outdoor antenna cable lead-in to the terminal marked Digital RF IN on the rear of the TV set.

3.Connect all power sources before activating the PDP TV.

4.Turn on the PDP TV.

5.Press DTV on the remote.

NOTES: Refer to the owner’s manual of the external equipment to be connected. When connecting external equipment, do not connect the AC power cords to wall outlets until all other connections are completed.

CONNECTING AN ANALOG TV CABLE OR AN ANALOG ANTENNA WITHOUT A TV CABLE BOX

1.Use one of the following two diagrams if you connect to an outdoor antenna.

A:Using a VHF/UHF combination outdoor antenna.

B:Using separate VHF and/or UHF outdoor antennas.

2.Connect all power sources before activating the PDP TV.

3.Turn on the PDP TV.

4.To use the TV, press NTSC on the remote.
