Safety Precautions

.Cleaning: Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet before cleaning the product. Use a damp cloth to clean the product. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.

.Water and moisture: Do not use the product near water or areas of high moisture content such as swimming pools, bathtubs or wet basements.

.Heat sources: Keep the product away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves and other heat-generating products (including amplifiers).

.For added protection during a lightning storm or for extended periods of non-use, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna (if used). This will prevent damage to the product due to power line surges.

.If an outside antenna is connected to the product, make sure the antenna is properly grounded so as to provide some protection against voltage surges. (Coaxial connector shielding from cable distribution system should be probably earthed.)
