Camera Angles

BD DVD

Some BD/DVD may contain scenes which have been shot simultaneously from various angles. You can change the camera angle if “ ” appears on the screen.

PIP (Bounusview) Setting

BD

Some BD-video have the PIP function which enables you to display the secondary video in the primary video. You can call up the secondary video by pressing [PIP] whenever the scene contains the secondary video.

PIP information will appear.

2Use [Cursor K/ L] to select the secondary video you want.

The secondary video will be displayed and the secondary audio will be output.

3Press [BACK] or [PIP] to remove the PIP information.

Secondary video can also be called up by pressing [MODE].

The secondary audio will not be output when the secondary audio is set to “Off” or when “BD Audio Mode” is set to “HD Audio Output”. Refer to “Audio Soundtrack” on page 47 and “BD Audio Mode” on page 46.

Note:

Virtual surround does not function during rapid playback.

For the virtual surround, audio signal will always be 2-channel LPCM.

Turn down the level or select “Off” if the sound is distorted.

Noise Reduction

Reduces the noise of the playback picture.

Note:

The setting will remain the same even if the unit is turned to the standby mode.

You cannot adjust the setting during rapid playback.
