DHT7000 Home Theater System

:: VCD Playback

Playing VCDs

VCDs with PBC (Playback Control) allow you to navigate VCD disc menus and select individual tracks for playback.

1Insert a VCD with PBC and press PLAY.

2As playback starts, the PBC menu appears on the screen.

VCD 1.1 does not support PBC functions.

3Use the arrow keys or the 0-9 key to select the desired track number.

4Press ENTER to confirm your selection.

5Follow the instructions in the PBC menu or supplied with the disc for special interactive features.

Features vary from disc to disc.

6To return to the PBC menu during playback, press the RETURN button.

The PBC function can be switched off by pressing the DISC MENU button on the remote control. This button toggles PBC on and off during VCD playback.

If the PBC status is changed from off to on, playback might restart from the beginning of the VCD disc.

When the PBC function is switched off, the RETURN button will not work. Depending on the structure of the VCD, the SKIP FORWARD/BACKWARD buttons may not work either.

Sound

The SOUND button on the remote control offers five preset EQ settings for use during VCD or CD audio playback.

1Press SOUND to view the current EQ setting during VCD or CD audio playback:

2Continue to press SOUND to change the EQ to FLAT, POP, ROCK, JAZZ or CLASSIC.

L/R Button

The L/R (Left channel/Right channel) button on the remote control allows you to manually set the Audio Output of VCD/CDDA discs.

1Before you begin, CD/VCD must be set to 2 Channel in the Setup/Audio menu; see page 16.

2Press L/R to view the current L/R audio setting.
