Playing at x2 Normal Speed or Scanning at High Speed

To playback at 2 times (x2)

the normal speed

Press SCAN button during playback.

The “SCAN 1” appears on the TV screen.

The playback speed becomes x2 the normal speed. Pressing the PLAY button again changes the playback speed to the normal speed.

The x2 playback does not operate in case of audio CD.

To Scan at fast forward or fast

reverse playback.

The speed of scan is relatively slow at first and becomes

 

 

 

faster. (The speed increases up to 3 steps in case of DVD

The DVD player does not play back sound during the high speed reverse and forward playback of DVD video discs. However, the DVD player plays back sound during fast forward or fast reverse playback of audio CDs.

You can advance a DVD video disc frame by frame.

Press PAUSE/STEP during still playback.

Each time you press the PAUSE/STEP button, the picture advances one frame.

To return to normal playback, press PLAY.

Notes

The sound is muted during frame by frame playback.

The Frame advance function is operated forward only.
