Front Panel

POWER button and indicator		>/M
Switches the DVD Recorder ON and OFF.		Go to NEXT chapter/track.
Lights blue when the DVD Recorder is turned on.		Press and hold for two seconds
		for a fast forward search.
CHANNEL (+/-)		m/.
Scans up or down through
	Go to beginning of current chapter/ track
memorized channels.
		or to previous chapter/track.
	Press and hold for a fast reverse search.

REC (z) button and indicator Starts recording. Press repeatedly to set the recording time.

Lights red when the DVD Recorder is in recording mode.

STOP (x) Stops playback or recording.

PAUSE (X) Pause playback or recording temporarily, press again to exit pause mode.

PLAY (N)

To play back a disc.

OPEN/CLOSE (Z)

Opens or closes the disc tray.

Display window

Shows the current status of the DVD Recorder.

Disc Tray

Insert a disc here.

DV INPUT

Connect the DV output of a digital camcorder.

S-V(S-Video) INPUT Connect the S-Video output of an external source (TV/ Monitor, VCR, Camcorder, etc.).

INPUT2 (VIDEO IN/AUDIO IN (Left/Right)) Connect the audio/video output of an external source (Audio system, TV/ Monitor, VCR, Camcorder, etc.).
