CD/VCD BASIC OPERATION (CONTINUED)

PROGRAMMED PLAYBACK

The CD player in this unit has a 16 track programmable memory that allows you to program up to 16 tracks on any disc for playback in any desired order. You may program 16 different tracks or you may also program certain tracks to play more than once. To perform programmed playback, proceed as follows:

While in the Play mode, press the PROGRAM button, the Program menu will appear on the TV screen.

Select the first track to be played back using the Number buttons . Select the next program number using the Navigation (Ã,¨,¹, ) buttons 2 and enter the next track number.

Repeat step 2 until all desired tracks have been programmed (up to 16). You can repeat a track more than once if desired.

Press the PLAY (¨) button to begin programmed playback. Playback will begin on the first track that you programmed and the player will continue to play all of the tracks that you programmed in the order in which you programmed them.

To stop programmed playback, press the STOP () button ; “PRESS PLAY KAY TO CONTINUE” will appear on the TV screen. Because the unit will remember where you stopped, simply press the PLAY (¨) button to resume playback where you left off (resuming playback) or press the STOP () button to stop and clear the programmed memory.

TO CANCEL THE PROGRAM FUNCTION:

To cancel the Program function, press the STOP () button twice, or press the OPEN/CLOSE button.

PBC (VCD ONLY)

When playing a VCD with PBC function, you can enjoy simple interactive software on your TV.

To turn off the PBC, press the PBC button 1 twice; “PBC OFF” will appear in the display.

When PBC is off, press the Skip (n) button to select the previous or next track of the disc. Press the Number buttons to select the desired track to play.

When the PBC is On, press the RETURN button to return to the Track Selection Menu.

Follow the instructions supplied with the disc as the operating procedure may differ according to the VCD.
