To Change the Password:

1)Follow the steps 1 to 4 above.

2)Press the Cursor buttons ( K or L ) to select “PASS- WORD CHANGE”, then press the ENTER button.

3)Enter a new 4-digit password, then press the ENTER button.

4)Press the SETUP button to exit.

IF YOU FORGET THE PASSWORD

1Press 4, 7, 3, 7 at step 4 .

The original password will be cleared and the Parental Level will be set to “ALL”. Enter a new 4-digit password, then press the ENTER button.

2Repeat steps 5 to 7 to re-establish the Parental Level.

DVD softwares of any grades (adult/general/children)

can be played back.

Levels 7 to 2

Only DVD softwares intended for general use and chil-

dren can be played back.

MPEG (Default: PCM) QUICK

BITSTREAM:

Output MPEG sound. Set to BITSTREAM when the unit is connected to an MPEG decoder.

PCM: Convert the MPEG sound to PCM.

This function allows you to adjust Angle Icon availability, Auto Power Off, brightness of the player’s display panel, and Slide Show Mode.

Parental Control

Parental Control limits playback of discs with unsuitable audi- ence ratings. A 4-digit password established by the user will un- lock the parental lock.

This feature allows you to prevent your children from playing discs with objectionable scenes.

PARENTAL LEVEL

Parental Level allows you to set the rating level of your DVD discs. Playback will stop if the disc’s ratings exceed the level you set.

1Press the SETUP button in Stop mode.

2Press the Cursor buttons ( s or B ) to select CUS- TOM, then press the ENTER button.

3Press the Cursor buttons ( s or B ) to select PARENTAL, then press the ENTER button.

4Press the Numeric buttons to enter your 4-digit password.

When doing this for the first time, enter any 4-digit number by pressing the Numeric buttons (except for

4737), then press the ENTER button. That number will be used as the pass- word from the second time onward. Record your password in case you forget it.

It will turn the DVD player to off auto- matically after 30 minutes of no use.

When AUTO is selected, the dis- play dims only during playback.

SLIDE SHOW (Default : 5sec)

This adjusts the playback speed of the JPEG SLIDE SHOW.

Press the Cursor buttons (Kor L) to select between 5 sec and 10 sec, then press the ENTER button.
