SETTING THE TV/CATV BUTTON

OPTIONS

TV: If using a VHF/UHF antenna.

CATV: If using Cable TV.

Simply press the TV/CATV button to set the TV to TV or CATV (Cable TV) mode. To change the type of cable (STD, HRC, IRC), simply change the TV/CATV option under the TUNING menu.

SETTING THE CHANNELS INTO MEMORY

This TV is equipped with a channel memory feature which allows channels to skip up or down to the next channels set into memory, skipping over unwanted channels. Before selecting channels, they must be programmed into the TV’s memory. In addition to normal VHF/UHF channels, this TV can receive up to 113 Cable TV channels.

Press the POWER button to turn on the TV. Set the TV/CATV button to TV or CATV (see above). Antenna, cable, satellite, etc. must be connected before memorizing channels. Press the MENU button ; the MENU screen will appear.

When AUTO MEMORY is in red, press the Navigation () button to start the Auto Search. The TV will automatically cycle through all the channels and store active channels into memory. When completed, the TV will be on the first available channel.

Press the Navigation () or () button until TUNING is selected, then scroll down using the Navigation () button

and select AUTO MEMORY.

NOTE: You cannot access TUNING menu if in VIDEO1, 2 or 3 - see FAQ’s below.

Press the Navigation () button to stop Auto Memory while it is searching (if desired).

Why can’t I access TUNING?

You cannot access the TUNING option if you are in VIDEO1, VIDEO2, or VIDEO3, there is no need to.

How many channels will I actually receive?

The actual number of channels that can be received depends on how many channels your cable or satellite company, or local area provides. Contact your company to determine the number of channels in your area.

Do channels need to be set into memory before using the CHANNEL Up + or Down – button? Yes, the channels must be programmed into memory.
