SETTING V-BLOCK

V-Block allow users to program their TV set to automatically block an incoming program that contains a particular level of violence, sexual content and strong language . User can easily block program based on the age based ratings, the content based ratings, or a combination of the two.

1Press the MENU button to bring up the menu-screen.

5Press the MENU button. The OFF (or ON) to the right of V-BLOCK will flash.

4 Use the number buttons to input a pass number "0000" (the preset pass number is 0000), then press the MENU button.

6 Press the + or - button until ON appears beside V-BLOCK, then press the MENU button.

NOTES

 

If you don't want to block any incoming

 

program, set V-BLOCK to OFF.

 

If you turn on the TV set for the first

 

tim , se ting the V-BLOCK to ON alone

 

wi

not enable the blocking function

 

unless

you change the preset state for

 

MPAA Rating and TV Rating from OFF

 

to ON.
