ANTENNA CONNECTIONS

If you are using an indoor or outdoor antenna (antennas no included)t follow the instructions below that correspond to your antenna system. If youI are using a cable television service (CATV), refer to CATV connections.

Combination VHF/UHF Antenna (Single 75 ohm cable or 300 ohm twin-lead wire)

Connect the 75 ohm cable from combination VHF/UHF antenna to the antenna jack.

OR

If your combination antenna has a 300 ohm twin-lead wire, use the 300-75 ohm matching transformer (not included)

To prevent problems it is recommended that you use only the specified trans- former. (Transformer Part No.:1398-017)

To order a transformer, please call 1-800-321-6993.

For subscribers to basic cable service. For basic cable service without a converter/descrambler box, connect the CATV 75 ohm coaxial cable directly to the antenna jack on back of the unit.
