V-CHIP The choices in this menu involve software inside your TV which allows you to block content that may be unsuitable. Press the MENU button on the remote control until the Function menu appears. Press U button to choose ON to use the V-Chip settings.

CONFIRM PASSWORD From the FUNCTION menu press the Q button to choose V-CHIP. Press U on the remote control to bring up the screen to confirm your password. Press four digital buttons on the remote control. The V-CHIP menu can not be displayed without inputting the right password. The initial number is 0358.

Note: For rating limits to take effect, you must lock V-Chip settings to activate them.

MPAA  From the FUNCTION menu press the Q button to choose V-CHIP. Press

the U button to enter the password screen. Enter your password. Press the Q button to choose MPAA. Select a movie rating. The system will automatically block all other movies with higher ratings.

TVPG SETTING Use the VOL T/U buttons to go to TVPG SETTING. You can block all program ratings above a specific age-based level. To use these ratings choose

ON. Press the Q button to choose the age-based rating. Determine the content themes (D, L, S, V or FV) you want to block.

Return to the previous menu.

Notes: Broadcasters are not required to provide content themes or age-based ratings. For rating limits to take effect, you must lock V-Chip settings to activate them.
