Recording Pause

Pro-Tect Plus™ (Child Lock) Feature

This feature is useful to tamper proof your timer recordings from unwanted changes and/or protect the VCR from misoperation by other users in the household. It also prohibits all operations of the VCR once the feature is turned on.

To Lock the VCR

Press and hold POWER on the remote for approximately six seconds to turn on the Pro-Tect Plusª feature.

The TIMER and RECORD indicators on the front panel flash to let you know the feature is activated. After the feature is turned on, momentarily pressing POWER also causes the indicators to flash.

To Unlock the VCR

Press and hold POWER on the remote for approximately six seconds to unlock the VCR. The VCR turns on.
