Chapter Advance

While a disc is playing, you can go forward or backward a chapter at a time.

Press CH+ or CH– to go forward or backward through the disc a chapter at a time.

Playback Features Might Not Be Available During Opening Credits

Playback features, such as fast forward, might not work during the opening credits and warning information that appear on the screen at the beginning of a movie because of the way the movie on the disc is formatted.

Playback features are disc-dependent, and may not work with all discs.

Slow Motion Backward

Scanning backward doesn’t provide as clear of a picture as searching forward. The picture may appear “jumpy.”

This is the nature of MPEG-2, which is the digital video data standard of the Motion Pictures Experts Group (MPEG)

that allows more content to fit on one disc.
