Using the subwoofer

(MHC-GNX100/GNX88/GNX80 only)

You can use the sound of the subwoofer to enhance the bass.

1 Press SUBWOOFER ON/OFF on the subwoofer repeatedly until the indicator lights up.

The subwoofer is turned on.

2 Turn SUBWOOFER LEVEL to adjust the level.

You will be able to listen to low bass frequency sound.

To turn off the subwoofer

Press SUBWOOFER ON/OFF on the subwoofer again.

Notes

If you turn MASTER VOLUME (or press VOLUME +/– on the remote), the volume for all speakers will change.

(MHC-GNX100 only)

When you select “SPEAKERS B”, the subwoofer is turned off automatically.

Tip

You can turn MASTER VOLUME (or press VOLUME +/– on the remote) to adjust the volume of the subwoofer linked to the front speakers.

Flashing sound effect

— SOUND FLASH

With the sound flash function, you can flash the sound output. The sound cuts off periodically.

Hold down SOUND FLASH during playback.

The flashing effect is activated.

To cancel the flashing effect

Release SOUND FLASH.

To change the sound flash speed

Hold down SOUND FLASH and turn OPERATION DIAL clockwise or counterclockwise to change the sound flash speed (1 ~ 20).

Tips

(MHC-GNX100 only)

You can activate the X-ROUND and SOUND FLASH effect simultaneously.

The power illuminator will synchronize with the selected SOUND FLASH effect.
