Basic play

Power ON.	Open the disc
	tray.
	Remote control sensor

Load the disc.

•Load double-sided discs so the label for the side you want to play is

facing up.

	• When the unit is switched
	•	off, the light goes off.
		When there is no disc or

	• The indicator lights up
		blinks every 0.5 sec.

read, the indicator blinks every 0.25 sec.

•Press [U I] to skip chapters or tracks.

•Up to 5 steps

•Press [Q] (PLAY) to restart play.

•VCD Slow-motion, forward direction only

The position is memorized when “RESUME STOP” is	TOP MENU	MENU
displayed on your television screen.
• Press [Q] (PLAY) to resume.
• Press [G] to clear the position.		ENTER

Pause

•Press [Q] (PLAY) to restart play.

•Discs continue to rotate while menus are displayed. Press [G] when you finish to preserve the unit’s motor and your television screen.

•Total title number may not be displayed properly on 4R/4RW.
