• When using discs recorded with surround sound, sound seems to come from

speakers on either side of you.

 

 

 

 

• Optimum seating position is 3 to 4 times the distance between the front left and right

 

speakers or the width of the television if using the television’s speakers.

 

• Do not use in combination with surround effects on other equipment.

 

• The settings remain even when the unit is turned off or the disc tray is opened.

 

• Turn off if sound is distorted.

Changing picture mode (Discs with pictures)

Press [PICTURE MODE] to select the picture quality

NORMAL

for movie viewing.

 

NORMAL: Normal images.

CINEMA1: Mellows images and enhances detail in dark scenes.

CINEMA2: Sharpens images and enhances detail in dark scenes.

DYNAMIC: Enhances the contrast for powerful images.

ANIMATION: Suitable for animation.

SOFT SKIN: Softens the skin of people in the images.

Changing play speed DVD-VDVD-VR

(Only when the elapsed play time can be displayed)

During play, press [PLAY SPEED].

– from “0.6” to “1.4” (in 0.1 units)

 

Press [q] (PLAY) to return to the normal play.

After you change the speed

Advanced surround (left) does not work.

Digital audio output switches to PCM 2ch.

Press [QUICK REPLAY] to skip back about 10 seconds.
