Cleaning the Air Filter

The Air Filter should be cleaned about every 400 hours.

1When the accumulated operating time reaches 400 hours, the screen on the right will be displayed for 5 minutes. When this happens, please follow the instructions and clean the air filter. This is very important!

2Turn the POWER button to OFF.

Wait until the cooling fan stops and the POWER indicator turns solid red.

3Remove the right Speaker cover.

Place your fingertips under the Speaker cover and pull it from the Projection display.

4Clean the Filter.

Gently remove any accumulated dust from Air Filter unit with your vacuum cleaner.

CAUTION:

Please be very careful not to

damage or rip the filter material.

Operating Projection display with

torn or damaged Filter may

cause damage to Projection

display.

5Replace the Speaker cover.

Operating this unit without the air filter installed will result in dust or dirt being drawn into the LCD projection display assembly. Visibly, the picture will be degraded.

If the dust cannot be removed by cleaning, it is time to replace the air filter.

6This screen appears when Projection display is turned on. If cleaning is done, select YES.
