This unit is a DVD recorder with an integrated DVB tuner. This means that you can receive and record both analogue and terrestrial digital channels without having to connect an additional DVB receiving unit (set-top box).

Select the channel

1 Turn on the television and select the appropriate AV input to suit the connections to this unit.

2 Press [Í DVD] to turn the unit on.

3 Press [W X CH] to select the channel.

Everytime you change the station, a digital channel information appear automatically (terrestrial digital channels only).

Channels are displayed in the order of digital channels first, and then followed by analogue channels.

≥Digital channel

You can also select the channel with the numbered buttons.

e.g., 5: [0] ➡ [0] ➡ [5]

15:[0] ➡ [1] ➡ [5]

115:[1] ➡ [1] ➡ [5]

≥Analogue channel

You can also select the channel with the following steps.

1Press [ANALOGUE CH].

2Press the numbered buttons to select the channel.

e.g.,

[0] ➡ [5]

15:[1] ➡ [5]

[Note]

This unit can receive Standard Definition (SD) broadcasts, but is unable to receive High Definition (HD) broadcasts. When High Definition (HD) programmes are broadcast, “Unable to decode HD” is displayed in the digital channel information (➡ right).

–press [2, 1] to show next programme information.

choose to display or hide digital channel information and change

No Signal: The digital broadcast signal is not being received.

Bad Signal: Due to poor weather conditions, etc., the digital

broadcast signal has been interrupted.

If “No Signal” or “Bad Signal” is displayed, check to make sure that

the aerial is correctly positioned.

≥If the digital channel information shows “No Signal”, “Bad Signal”,
