3-2Audio Setup

Digital Out

Digital Out is a function for selecting a proper audio output system to the applied amplifiers.

1Press Setup to display the Setup

Menu. Press Left / Right to highlight AUDIO SETUP icon.

Note:

Select RAW when connecting the player’s Digital Out (Coaxial) jack to a Dolby Digital decoder or an equipment with a Dolby Digital decoder.

Select PCM when connecting the player’s Digi- tal Out (Coaxial) jack to a 2-channel digital stereo amplifier.

Downmix

Downmix is a function for mixing down to two channels when playing a DVD which has rear sound elements (channels) or is recorded in Dolby Digital format.
