Connecting external data media

Notes:

7Before connecting the data medium, switch the television to standby with »8«. Connect the device and then switch the television on again.

7Before removing the external data medium, the television must be switched to standby, so that no data loss occurs.

7Your television features two USB sockets, »USB HDD« and »USB«.

»USB HDD« is used to connect data media,­ which require an additional power supply

– for example, external hard disks.

Notes:

7The »USB« socket of the television supplies a maximum power of 500 mA in accord- ance with USB specifications. External hard disks which require more power may there- fore only be connected to the »USB HDD« of the television.

7If you use a network cable for external hard disks which have been connected to the »USB HDD« socket of the television, this network cable must also be disconnected from the power supply when the television is switched off.

7External data media may not be disconnect- ed from the television while files on the data medium are being accessed.

Settings for USB recording

Selecting the menu

1Open the menu with »MENU«.

2Select the line »USB RECORDING« with »V« or »Λ« and press »OK« to confirm.

– The »USB RECORDING« menu appears.

1Connect the »USB HDD« socket of the

television­ and the corresponding socket of the data medium (external hard disk) using a USB cable;

or

Insert the USB plug of the USB memory stick into the »USB« socket of the television.

2Confirm the display » « with »« (green).

– The file browser appears.
