Wireless network connection

1Connect Grundig WiFi USB dongle to the »USB« or »USB HDD« socket of your television in order to connect the television to a wireless network.

Notes:

7 Wireless LAN adaptor supports IEEE 802.11B/G and N communication protocols. We recommend you to use IEEE 802.11N protocol to obtain the best performance in HD video playback.

7If you use a modem that supports IEEE 802.11B/G, video playback performance may be poor when compared to a modem that supports IEEE 802.11N since the data transfer rate of IEEE 802.11B/G protocol is lower.

7WiFi USB dongle must directly be connected to »USB« or »USB HDD« socket; USB Hub is not supported.

7Please note that video playback performance in a DLNA application on a wireless local network depends on the number of users on the network as it is the case in every wireless network.

7It is recommended to switch off the equipment that are not in use in home network in order to avoid unnecessary network traffic.

7Placing the modem or wireless network sharer on an elevated location will increase the wireless connection reception strength.

7Wireless connection reception strength may vary depending on the type of the modem and the distance between the modem and television.

7Modem must be transmitting its SSID in order to establish a wireless connection. Television can not connect to a network without SSID.

7When network connection is established through a wireless USB network device, wireless network connection may be weak depending on the the strength of the wireless network in the medium. Extending the wireless USB network device close to the television with a USB extension cable will increase the wireless network performance.
