BASIC OPERATION

1. TURNING THE POWER ON AND OFF

Standby mode (DPMS on)

Power off

No light

NOTE:

The power indicator will illuminate from inside the disc slot. For more information on power mode configuration, go to page 43.

To turn on the power:

Presson the control panel or on the remote control. A blue light will illuminate from inside the disc slot.

To turn off the power:

Press on the control panel or on the remote control. The LCD TV shut down behavior will depend on the enabled Power Mode setting. Go to page 43 for related information.

NOTES:

If you are not going to use the TV for a long time, be sure to disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet and remove the batteries from the remote control.

In standby mode, a small amount of electricity is still consumed even when the power is turned off, as indicated by an amber light illuminating from inside the disc slot

2. ADJUSTING THE VOLUME

Press Vol+ to increase the volume. The bar indicator shifts right. Press Vol- to decrease the volume. The bar indicator shifts left.

Press to turn off the sound. Mute appears on the volume bar. Press again to turn on the sound.
