Fault	Cause/Remedy

Distorted picture	Make sure that there are no fingerprints on the disc,
	follow the cleaning instructions.

DVD/CD cannot be played	Check if the label on the disc is facing upwards.

	Clean the disc.

	Check if the disc is damaged by testing another disc.

No sound	Try another playback source.

	Use an external decoder for DTS audio formats.

No sound at the digital	The scanning rate was set to 96 kHz. Set the scanning
output.	rate to 48 kHz as described on page 31.

Cleaning discs

Wipe the dirty disc with a cloth from the centre outwards in a straight line. Do not use any solvents such as benzene, thinners, conventional cleaner or anti-static spray for vinyl records.
