Note

Connect this unit directly to the TV. If the A/V cables are connected to a VCR, pictures may be distorted due to the copy protection system.

The COAXIAL, DVD AUDIO OUT, S-VIDEO OUT, and COMPONENT VIDEO OUT jacks are only useful in DVD mode.

The DVD/VCR Audio Output jacks will output either VCR or DVD signals, depending on which OUTPUT mode you have selected. The DVD Audio Output jacks will only output DVD signals, regardless of which OUTPUT mode you have selected. See page 9.

DVD/VCR AUDIO OUT jacks Connect the supplied audio cables here to the audio In jacks of a television or other audio equipment.

AUDIO IN jacks

Connect audio cables coming from the audio out jacks of a camcorder, another VCR, here.

ANT IN jack

Connect your antenna or cable box here.

COAXIAL jack

Connect an optional coaxial digital audio cable here to the coaxial digital audio in jack of an audio receiver. (DVD only)
