SCEPTRE X19 HDTV User Manual

Parental Main Option

This option allows users to turn on TV program filters for children. To use this option you will need to enter in the password first. The password is “0000”.

1.Press MENU to open the OSD

2.Press ◄ or ► to move to PARENTAL and press ↵.

3.Use ▲ or ▼ to select the option you want to adjust and use ◄ or ► to adjust them.

•CHANGE PASSWORD – This function changes the password of the parental options.

•SYSTEM LOCK – This function enables the TV blocking options.

•UNRATED LOCK – This function locks or unlocks TV shows or Movies that are unrated.

•US – This function enters the ratings systems for both movies and TV shows.

i.TV – This blocks TV shows. You can select the level you want to block by choosing by TV rating or choosing by content. For further content explanation please refer to detailed explanation section.

ii.MPAA – This blocks movies. You can select the level you want to block by choosing the movie ratings you want to block.

•RRT SETTING – This function sets the rating region table that defines the rating standard for a particular geographic region and/or country. The menu may vary depending on the local broadcasting system.

•RESET – Resets all options inside PARENTAL.

Please Note:

•If RRT setting is grayed out that means your country / area does not support that type of setting.
