5.8AJUSTES Y REPARACIÓN DEL MOTOR

5.9REEMPLAZO DE LA CUCHILLA DE LA CORTADORA 5.9.1. LÍMITES DE DESGASTE DE LA CUCHILLA

1.Inspeccione frecuentemente la cuchilla en busca de evidencia de desgaste excesivo o daño. Reemplace la cuchilla si llega al límite de desgaste. Vea la figura 5.14.

5.9.2. AFILADO DE LA CUCHILLA

1.Retire la cuchilla. Vea la figura 5.15.

2.Inspeccione la condición de la cuchilla. Vea la figura 5.14.

3.Si la cuchilla está en buenas condiciones, afílela en 22 a 28 grados. NO afile la cuchilla más allá de su filo original. Vea la figura 5.16.

4.Revise el equilibrio de la cuchilla después del afilado. De ser necesario, corrija el equilibrio esmerilando el extremo pesado de la cuchilla.

IMPORTANTE: El ajuste del equilibrio de la cuchilla debe hacerlo un concesionario competente.

5.Vuelva a instalar la cuchilla. Vea la figura 5.15. Apriete las tuercas de montaje de la cuchilla al rango recomendado de 70 a 80 lbs-pie.
