Important Safety Precautions

Overloading

Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords or convenience receptacles beyond their capacity, since this can result in fire or electric shock.

Attachments

Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer. Use of inadequate attachments may result in accidents to nearby people or to the unit.

Keep away from water and moisture

Do not place the display in areas where moisture is present or where the unit may get wet such as bath-rooms, kitchen, pool area or in a wet basement.

Keep away from heat sources

Keep the display unit away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves and other heat-generating products.

The Liquid Crystal Panel Used in this Product is

Made of Glass

Do not hit the panel. Be careful to prevent from getting hurt by broken glass pieces in case the panel breaks.

Cleaning AC Plug

Clean the AC plug regularly. If the plug is covered with dust and it picks up moisture, its insulation may deteriorate and result in fire. Unplug the AC power plug and clean it regularly.

Cleaning the Display

Remember to unplug the AC cord from the AC outlet before cleaning the display unit. And do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners to clean the display.

-Minimize contact with the LCD screen surface since the special coating applied may be affected. Use a dry soft cloth when removing dust from the screen.

-Do not use alcohol, benzine, thinner, etc., as it may damage the coating or cause LCD screen deterioration.

-Do not allow the LCD screen to come in contact with volatile compounds such as insecticide. Also never let LCD screen come in contact with rubber or plastic products for an extended period of time. This type of contact may damage the coating, or cause the LCD screen to deteriorate.
