Index Search

Index Search will fast-forward or rewind a specified number of Index Marks from 1 to 99.

When it reaches the desired Index Mark, it will play the tape. Use Index Search when you know the exact Index Mark you want to locate.

1 Open “Search Menu”

From Stop or Play mode, press the Search/ Index button.

2 Select “Index Search/Scan”

Press 1.

Enter a number from 1 to 99; e.g. for “5” press “0-5”.

4 Search for Index Marks

Press Fast-Forward or Rewind to begin searching forward or backward for the specified Index Mark. When the VCR locates the Index Mark, it will play the tape.
