“ANT” lights up when the indicator mode is set to tuner sensitivity.

Changing the level indicator mode

When shipped from the factory, the level indicator on the display shows the audio level setting.

You can change it by following the procedure below.

• AUDIO: Audio level indicator

ANTENNA: Tuner sensitivity indicator

OFF: Volume setting indicator

1.Press the SEL button for more than 2 seconds to set the preferred setting mode (see page 23).

2.Select “LEVEL” with the SEL button.

Current setting appears.

3.Press +/– to select the level indicator mode you want to use.

Each time you press the button, the level indicator mode changes as follows:

AUDIO ANTENNA OFF

Turning on/off the key-touch tone

You can deactivate the key-touch tone if you do not want to make it beep when you press a button. When shipped from the factory, the key-touch tone is activated.

ON: Activates the key-touch tone.

OFF: Deactivates the key-touch tone.

1.Press and hold the SEL (Select) for more than 2 seconds to set that “PSM” appears on the lowerpart of the display.

2.Select “BEEP” with the SEL button.

Current setting appears.

3.Press +/– to select the setting you want to use.

Each time you press the button, the setting changes as follows:

OFF ON

Notes:

Key-touch tone comes out of the front speakers only. If you have only rear speakers connected in your car, no key-touch tone comes out.

If you have connected an external amplifier, key-touch tone sounds louder. In this case, adjust the volume control of the connected amplifier.
