In addition to controlling several functions on JVC remote control TVs, the VCR's remote control can control these functions on the TV brands listed below.

Before you start . . .

●Turn the TV’s power on using its remote control.

●Set the remote control’s TV/CABLE/VCR switch to TV.

	1		SET TV BRAND CODE
			Refer to the chart below. While holding down POWER,
			enter your TV’s brand code using the NUMBER keys,
			then press STOP.
			● You don’t have to repeat this step until you replace
			your remote control’s batteries.
			● PANASONIC has two codes. If the TV does not
			function with one code, try entering the other.

	2		TRY OPERATING TV
			Press POWER on the remote to turn off the TV’s power.
			If it goes off, try other operations.
			● The POWER, TV/VIDEO, CH5°, VOL +/– and
			● The POWER, TV/VIDEO, CH5°, VOL +/– and
			NUMBER keys on the remote can all be used to
			operate the TV. *Depending on the brand, the TV
			channel may not change unless you press ENTER
			after having pressed the NUMBER keys.
			● To return the remote to VCR control, set the TV/
			CABLE/VCR switch to VCR.

NOTE:

Depending on the kind of TV, there may be cases where some or all functions cannot be operated using the remote control.
